Inclusive Defense 3

October 27 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

It is certainly possible to need to use a defensive handgun from a less than optimal position.  Is it possible that one might get knocked down, or be injured and unable to stand?  Certainly it is.  This is an opportunity to prepare for the times that standing flat footed while using a defensive handgun is not optimal, or even possible.

This is a full day learning the whys, whats, and hows of defensive shooting from compromised positions and the use of cover and concealment.  Students should plan to bring a yoga mat or some other form of padding fo facilitate being on the ground in various positions.  The use of knee pads and/or elbow pads is also permitted.  There will be a mix of classroom learning, classroom practice, and range practice during the day. There will be a 1 hour lunch break for both students and the instructor team.

Focus:  shooting from compromised positions, use of cover/concealment, one handed shooting with both dominant and non-dominant hand.

Like all of our classes and trainings, there will be two opportunities for each student to earn an Inclusive Defense Training patch!

Note: students must be a graduate of Inclusive Defense Training I or be able to demonstrate the ability to safely draw and reholster a handgun.

Cost for this class is $150.00 per person which includes a $25.00 range fee for any who are not members of the Oklahoma City Gun Club.  Oklahoma City Gun Club members should contact me for a code to subtract the range fee.
